fikus got it, not sam. sorry but he's right, there is no set amount of sweets. its your choice whether to assign a given sweet to be from an outside origin or from one of the two sides.

its just basic mathematical concept, nothing hard at all. you have to realize that the person who wrote that on the matchbox probably had to much sweets and thusly came up with a partial problem with a few parameters left open and undefined.
