Royal Mail - US shipping reputation????
Ok folks, I just bought myself a digital scale on everyonedoesit.com. They are located in the UK so they use Royal Mail as their postal service. I am currently in western New York, and my package was shipped off yesterday.
this thread is for those who have used that site and live in the U.S. (preferably in a 500-800 mile radius of new york city) and have used either everyonedoesit.com or have ordered something from the UK with Standard International Mail (from British Royal Mail).
how long did you package take to arrive at your door? their site says international mail has been clocked between a week and 2 months. my business has already taken off so i really need to know an estimate on when that package may come to me.
by the way, the shipping service is Standard International Mail (provided by British Royal Mail) and you can't track overseas shipments supposedly.
thanks in advance if anyone fits my description!
EDIT :: okay anyone at all in the U.S. that has used everyonedoesit.com, you can answer this question. Just at least give me the state you're from so I can estimate when it will get to me.
I would venture a guess that the port for overseas mail is New York City, which is good news for me.pixel Reviewed by pixel on . Royal Mail - US shipping reputation???? Royal Mail - US shipping reputation????
Well, royal mail is shit, so between the time of it being posted and being shipped out it could easily be lost. Dont worry tho bro, it'll probably be ok.
Im just pissed because they've lost like 3 of my things that i've posted in the last 4 months... too regular. One of the packages had 3 hits of acid i was sending to a very good mate.

lmao. royal mail is just like the english equivalant of th US Postal service....i think
so when he says he mailed a hit of acid he doesnt mean he walked into the post office and ordered some acid and a pound of ganja and said for them to deliver to someplaceDisclaimer: I don\'t fuck around \';..;\'

Royal Mail - US shipping reputation????
I ordered an item from EDIT.com on 9-11-06, it was shipped on 9-12-2006 via International (Signed for - Registered) Royal Mail. It was reported to have left england for the states on 9-13-2006. I haven't recieved any word (nor do I expect to until it's delivered) as of now (9-21-2006.) I expect it'll come in sometime tomorrow, saturday, or early next week. I live in Oklahoma.
It may take longer, but I doubt it, since I live in a metro area and it's not a peak shipping season or anything. Just be patient. You can't declare the package lost until 2 moths have gone by anyhow.

PS, to respond to the post... royal mail is fast as fuck. The limiting factor will be US post. Iv had packages from england to southern ontario (nearish newyork) in 5 busiess days. Dont be surprised if it takes over a month though.. usps takes thier sweet bloody time with international post.. from my experience
