    My tiny babies

First, some background info. Its my first time growing, i got these seeds out of a stash and gave them to this girl. She planted all of them and almost all of them worked so i took three. Now i have three flowering females. She said all of hers were also females. One of the plants started with three leafs at the same level, which im told is rare. Im growing outside in a great spot, except for the light factor. It is in a tight spot and probably gets only 3 hours of direct sun per day. And now autumn is coming and its starting to get colder and less sun...
All of my plants are really small, but the one that had three leaves is the smallest, and also the furthest along. Its about nine inches and has been budding for 2 to 3 weeks, and hasnt seemed to grow at all in that time. the other two are about a foot plus a few inches and started budding at about the same time. I fed them all bat guano twice during their lives.
I just want to know if anyone has any reasons why they could be so small, or maybe some tips on what to do about it.

During the early stages of flowering a plant will seem to stop growing and then it will suddenly hit a growth spurt. This spurt is commonly known as a stretch. As said earlier, you are not getting anywhere near enough light. I think that 5 hours is a BARE minimum. Seeing as its your first grow I guess you can call it a lesson learned. Your plants will still produce buds but they will be small and popcornish buds.

    Happy Toking :rasta:
