Anyone have this sort of experience with friends?

So, I have this friend whom I've known since about 7th grade (we're both sophomores in college now). We went to the same public middle school and were good friends for those two years. After that, I went to private high school and he went to public with all my other public school friends.

Off and on throughout high school, this guy was pretty much my only reprive from the people at private school; he was like a conduit through which I could get back in touch with the good times of public school and life in the suburbs (I moved, too, halfway through high school, to a really ritzy town and couldn't stand it; never made any friends there). We've been buddies ever since we met and this summer, things came to a new level. I found out he smokes pot too, and in early summer, he invited a really nice friend of his over, and the three of us rolled a joint and went for a walk around the town I used to live in. We got stoned in the baseball diamond, talking and laughing, you know, good times. All I could think of were the better days when I used to belong there. It was a beautiful evening.

Then, some fireworks went off and, now baked, we all staggered/dashed up the hill to the water tower (where we've seen the occasional pot plant growing wild, too) and watched the fireworks show. Finally we all walked back to my friend's house and snacked and watched a movie.

I feel like I've been even better friends with him after having that experience; I can't think of anything cooler than finding out your buddy smokes, then getting stoned together on a gorgeous summer night and taking a walk through the suburbs and park.

Has anyone else had an experience with learning a longtime friend smokes, and getting stoned with 'em? Or something similar?

I love conencting herb and friends, it brings such a closer bonding. It's almost as if you guy's are on the exact same level.

Yeah, private school has mad snobs.. went there in elemantary school and got the fuck out of there. it really mutates people...
my friend stayed an extra year when I left, and he cried everyday before school cause it was so bad.
such horrible people...
I have only heard stories about the remaining snobs who stayed there through the end of high school.
Long story short..
coke heads, jail, muggers, and mutants.

Moral: Dont stay in a private school or you will soon grow to mutate and become one of them.

You know, you're experience would probably just as enjoyable without drugs. Not trying to bash you but just saying that your experience was probably based more on the setting than the fact that you were smoking

And i agree with you, im sure he would have had a fantastic time without any herb, but i think what he was getting at was the fact that he found out a long time freind smoked (one it seems like he hid it from) and he got to toke up with him on a fantastic night.

I have loosely related stories, but most of the time, i don't find out a friend smokes, i normally interduce them to it. Although I did get to toke with my older brother when he got out of jail this year (i'm in my 20s, hes 10 years older) that was alright, we come from the same place but have different mindframes, hes gangsta gangsta, and i was the military then school type. I'm afraid it wasnt too enjoyable cause his "bitches" kept coming over, and to top it off, most of his stories.... then again i can tell some graphic ones myself. Too bad he got locked up again.

What i am looking foward to, is smoking with my step pops. since i've been back in the us, my step father and i have STARTED a relationship, didnt have one when i was growing up. I look up to the man big time now, and thus he has opend up to me. He used to smoke then jam back in the day (he taught me how to play the sax, among other things, when i was younger) anywho, he cant smoke now, but when he retires he says he will grow, and although my mom disagrees, she backs him (oh well, thats my husband, thats my job she says).

Are either of you closet homosexuals? Cause it sounds like you had a real GAY time together - getting high. I used to have friends like that. When he were straight we thought nothing of an intimate act.... but when we would get high together, especially if it is just 2 people... then it would get all weird and denial and all that shit. Kind of awkward. You know its hard to be too aggressive when you are stoned. I mean for me being stoned is just a way of relaxing, kind of like HOW TO BE LAZY when you aren't doing other things... so I guess that would apply to sex as well too, huh?
