Some P's and Q's
My one plant from bagseed is about a month old. It's under about 100 watts of CFL's and until a few days ago looks pretty good for the exception of being 2.5" tall. The strange thing its on its 8 and 9th leaf nodes already!
The heat and ventilation where a problem in the begininning but have been fixed to high 70's low to mid 80's. I also recently planted from a coffee jar(the folgers one's) to a bigger planter to give the roots more room. Astonishingly the roots had taken up the entire span of the coffee can! So why is the plant so small? I would post pics but no digi. Some other Q's too: The leafs(all of them) bend downwards(long way, stem to tip), some past 90 degrees. On top of this they ar folded upwards at a 45 degree angle(hotdog style, vein to vein). It also has a distinct odor of buds even though its not flowering at all(obviously). Help?
Oh and it's had a drop of superthrive for a couple weeks and a dash of miracle grow but that's being cut cuz its causing nute burns.AYEYEY Reviewed by AYEYEY on . Some plants grow smaller than some other plants. By the sounds of it, yours sounds like an Indica dom. strain, which tend to grow short and thick. Having a short plant with tight internodes is a good thing. Things will stretch big time when flowering hits. The top will stretch a good inch every 24-48 hours for a good solid week when flowering begins. Keep things small now, or the end result will be stretched out, lanky, light and wispy buds.
Good luck.
