Ventilation Problems - Please Help - Pics

Unable to keep the temperature from rising 10 to 15+ degrees celcius

As an example tonight with the newly put in 200mm active outake fan and adjusted for you crazy fahrenheiters

    8:00pm 66f/19c
    8:20pm 80.24f/27c
    8:40pm 85f/29c

    Specs

    Grow box (forget dimensions)
600w hps - glass cover and sunon mounted fan
Ventilation tube ranges from 150mm to 200mm
    New 200mm inline fan

    Box

Sunon fan the same as the one attached to the hood

    600w

Venting around sunon mounted fan only cable tied, not sealed perfectly

Passive intake bottom right corner of the box

A foot or so of venting from the hood to the outside of the box, sealed tight

Outside view of the active exhaust before mounting the 200mm venting and 200mm inline fan on

Newly Mounted 200mm on the outside to try and stop this rising temp problem, didnt work.

Thoughts? Remove the sunon from the hood and air seal the ventilation to it and see how the 200mm goes then? buy a second 200mm?

Cannabis likes a rise in temperature during the "day" and a drop at "night", and 85 should be fine. Anything above that could be bad, but Marijuana Botany says that you get better/more female plants at that temp.

Yeah but the problem is the ventilation is just completely ineffective

It is going into the hotter seasons here and I will need to have it on during the day for the 18 hour veg cycle

So unless I get this ventilation to work I cant go ahead to the next step and put the plan into action because the summer day will be 95f at the minimum then the light goes on and the temp will go 115f +

Does your Box Have an outtake hole? All i could see is a out take hole from your Hood, and a small intake hole at the bottom of your box. I would imagine cuz your outtake is sealed tight Its not moving any air in your box.

I also believe that the small computer style fan will burn out if it has Back pressure so be careful. Its not meant for pushing air through a tube. The fan you have on the outside of your box should handle that. Put the COmp fan in your box.

I think you will see a difference if you test the temps with the door slightly open. If so get some air moving inside your box. with a outtake hole.

So are you venting the hot air out of the room? If not that's probably the problem.

It is vented from the box into the room however the room is large and the temperature dosnt change in the room itself so the problem isnt hot air going back into the box. Also once this initial problem is fixed the hot air will also be vented out of the room as well.

I think you may be surprised to find that if you vent to the outside everything will be fine.

I had a similar heat issue (exceeded 100F) and the problem was from recirculating air from the room that the grow box was in. It's amazing what the cannabis plant can handle though.
