    root rot is from to much water in your pots and not allowing time to fully dry out
    its hard to come back from you may have to let her dry out and let her start to wilt a bit before you water her again

    Yeah, what invision said.
    You might want to slice the sides of the pot, and put a shopping bag over the plant so she doesn't wilt too fast while the soil dries. I've had to do that with my Zygo cacti- they're prone to root rot- and I 've never lost one.
