    Rolling Filter or no filter?

simple question how do you roll with a filter or with out?

i didn't for a long time but i find now with a nice long filter you can smoke the joint easily to the end and it doesn't get nearly as resin packed. now i never roll without even on pinners

i never put a filter in joints because they "filter" things out. if by a filter you mean mouthpiece then yes sometimes i do. btw, they're also sometimes called roaches.

You'll find that your not actually using a filter, if you ARE then your loosing alot of weed.

I assume you mean a cylinder of rolled up card, maybe sometimes having a n S shape inside it to stop the bud being pulled through into your mouth. That's what we in England and Europe call the roach. Beleive me, it imporves a hit so much its crazy, and you have no wasted weed cos you can smoke it right down to the end.

A well rolled joint with a mouthpiece is nice, but a perfectly rolled joint sans mouthpiece is awesome. At least that's how I feel about it. If you can roll a perfect joint without a mouthpiece then do it. It somehow feels more traditional or old school to me.

Now if I were worried about wasting the weed I might include a mouthpiece but if I'm just smoking mids then I probably won't bother. I've rolled some huge cones without mouthpieces and they smoked perfectly.

sometimes is you use a roach i.e. just a piece of cardboard, i find that i end up losing a bit of weed that falls into it. If you have a pipe, instead of using a roach , put the last bit in teh pipe and smoke it oput of that.

Alternatuvely roll blunts,,, using cigar paper.... they burn for longer and theres no need for a roach!
