A real man ? why?
[/QUOTE]
are you even capable of wrapping your mind around actual combat? i know your not because no one is until after they've been throught it. i do not think you would be menatlly capable of lasting 10 minutes in falluja if your heart breaks for the poor Iraqi's. you act like we are killing innocent people all day. yes, civillians die, that's what happens in war. and yes i am hero because i fought in this war honorably and with courage. i have earned the right to call myself a man. what have you done except blow kisses to yourself while you jerk off in front of a mirror? if you even had the slightest idea what war was really like and the things I've been through you would not sit here now and test me. the things you say only show your lack of knowledge for what is real.

I am under no illusion as to what is real and the real danger is in starting wars for no good reason, do you not understand the reasons were LIES !
The words were coming out of Bushs mouth so I guess he said it.

THE BOTTOM LINE IS THESE PEOPLE, THESE FANATICS ARE A THREAT TO OUR WAY OF LIFE, THAT'S IT PLAIN AND SIMPLE. IF ANOTHER 9/11 HAPPENED I THINK YOU BE SEEING THINGS DIFFERENTLY. AND YES FIGHTING IN WAR DOES MAKE YOU A MAN, OBVIOUSLY YOU WOULD NOT KNOW. AND NO I DONT KNOW YOU AND YES I'M JUDGING YOU BY WHAT YOU SAY, WHICH PROBABLY ISNT THE BEST WAY. WHATEVER. I NEVER SHOULD HAVE STARTED POSTING ON THIS THREAD BECAUSE I KNEW THIS WAS GOING TO END UP LIKE THIS. I TRIED TO APPOLIGIZE AT THE BEGINING AND AVOID ALL THIS THAT IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW. WE COULD GO BACK AND FORTH ALL NIGHT, WE WILL NEVER AGREE. SO IF I OFFENDED ANY ONE I'M SORRY. OK? THERE I SAID IT. CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG?:stoned:

ddropdeadfred, thank you for that last post. I agree with your position 100% and have much respect for all the fine men and women over there. I was just on the verge of asking if you could maybe just tune it down a bit but I'm glad to see your handling that on your own.
This area is VERY slightly moderated and is a battleground in itself. Flame wars happen........no harm in that, I was just gonna ask the favor. :stoned:
psychocat, no offense to you either.......we just have different beliefs. :stoned:
Once again.........MUCH respect!!!
Have a good one!

I really believe this current US administration is doing all it can to spread it's influence and global domination is definately on their agenda , surely freedom is not only for Americans and if a country wishes to be Communist or Muslim that should be their business and nobody elses.
I believe the war on terror is going to be as effective as the war on drugs and we all know what a joke that is. Propoganda from the Bushites is what started this current BS.

Thanks, P4B. I was in the process of writing my own request asking for the same courtesy when I saw yours pop up after DropDeadFred's apology.
DropDeadFred, thank you, first of all, for your courageous service. I stand in awe of the fact that you served this country, and I personally know and love a number of young men (and one young woman) who have served or are currently serving in the military. As much as I love and support you guys, however, I have a hard time forgiving my country's leadership for sending y'all into harm's way based on bad intelligence. That's what much of our very understandable objection to this war is about. We see the casualty counts, both military and civilian, grow by the day. We see you young men and women coming back, often wounded for life, and, as a mother of a 20-year-old, I find that impossible to support. Certainly deep down you can see why others may feel differently from you. I certainly see why you feel the way you do.
About the deaths of little girls, I did a little research real quickly and found widely varying tallies of civilian casualties as a result of our military action. They ranged from 30,000 civilian deaths (our DoD estimate) up to 100,000+ depending on whose tally you read. The one thing that all the tally sources agreed on, however, is the fact that that figure comprises a large amount (about 3/4) of women and children. The Pentagon and our top military officials don't dispute this fact, by the way. I've heard both Rumsfeld and Cheney talk about this very fact on the Sunday news shows on more than one occasion. So, as much as I may be risking setting off another tirade of all-caps profanity, Hamlet's information was quite accurate, and pictures of such victims do exist.
