That boy did have some serious skills. It almost sounded like a piano at times, with so many notes going off at once. It was unique and original and that's why I liked it.

I saw an old friend a couple weekends ago and he plays in a band. He plyed with nothing buy his finger tips with no pick at all. It was very classical influenced but with a Tool/Zeppelin twist to it. Very original as well.

That video didnt work on my computer, but i believe it is the guy who slaps on an acoustic guitar and is just generally amazing. Yeah that guy is fucking incredible.

holy shit i have heard some stupid names tossed in there before but that beats them all.

for technical ability only, which is absolutely all buckethead has(if you have heard him play in a band compared with what he does solo you know exactly what im talking about), vai is the best. he has done things with the instrument that i have never seen anyone else do. and actually so did the guy on this video(if it is the video im thinking of).

beyond technical ability it is a matter of opinion.~

eric johnson,ynwie malmsteem, joe satriani, and to a lesser extent john petrucci and john 5. there are some technicians. and they dont rely on a gimmick which is always a huge plus.
