My one female plant, one question
So of three plants that I had initially, one was definitely a female, one was definitiely a male, and the other wasn't do so well, so I kept the female and killed the others. So I've got this one plant that's close to a month old, but somewhat sickly, although growing well, especially after I transplanted it to a bigger pot. I've never gotten past this point with a grow, so from this point on I'm in new territory. This morning I noticed that the point where the leaf stems meet the leaf is starting to get kind of hairy, and I'm wondering if this is normal or if I have a mutant plant, like one that I've read about in Marijuana Botany.

My one female plant, one question
Any pics you can post? Have you started the plants on a 12/12 light cycle to induce flowering? Those hairy things you're seeing are probably pre-flowers.

My one female plant, one question
I can't post a pic because my plant is in dark right now, and has been on 12/12 for nearly two weeks. There are some regular preflowers, the hairy areas that I'm asking about are different, they're at the small spot where all the individual leaves join, right where the leaf stem, the petiole, starts. It's just getting hairy there, and in Marijuana Botany there's an example of a strain that forms budding sites in that spot, so I was thinking that maybe that my plant is growing some budding spots there, but then again maybe there's just some regular hairyness, like a tomato plant?
