I just visited a lowryder garden.. Looked very nice.. It was not the highest yielding plant and the gardner said that he would not grow it again.
I believe the gardner said, he yielded 3lbs in a flower room with 2000 watts HPS. He said that he was getting 3.7 - 4.2 lbs from other strains..
The plants were beautiful!!!

ello there.. i have grown lowryder twice now.. i yielded 1oz per plant first time 18/0 all the way.. 2nd time i started3 seeds when i went into flower with my northenlightsxbigbug they got bout half oz each on 12/12.. my LRS got from 12inches-18inches ..i would say the taste can be good if u grow it right.. the stone i would say is average.. overall i would say lowryder is a pleasure to grow .. but stone and taste is a bit of a let down for me.. but im a regular smoker it takes a strong weed to get me stoned.. but lowryder sure does mellow u out.. happy growing

Hi all,
I'm trying to grow some Lowryder, my first grow of any type. These are pics of the plant so far, after about a week. I germinated in wet tissues, then planted in some peat mixture made for potted plants.
I think it looks too tall, would I be right?
What am I doing wrong?
I have planted another seed, and that is turning out the same way.
I tried the first one in a cupboard giving it abouit 12 hours of illumination, this one is on a window sill.
Any help appreciated.

More light might be helpful. 20 on and 4 off for veg and 12/12 for flowering maybe. If your light is too far up the plant will 'strech' out and try to get closer to the light and thats a bad thing. move the light closer to the plant but be careful that you dont get the plant too hot.
Edit: Some flowing air around your plants will help them get thicker stems.

It's okay to add more soil to cover some of the lower part of the plant. It will strengthen the root system and it won't be so leggy. Get any household fixture and screw in a CFL bulb close to it and it will put out large green leaves. You just need one bulb per plant at the start. Good Luck with it
