to birdgirl73Hey, Snookums! Yes, I saw that yesterday after we were in that other thread and wrote you back there. I told you it was nice to "meet" the real Snookums face to face and that I found you more fetching than the tv-star avatar shot because you're more real! My son had to explain to me who Holly Marie Combs was.

Did you see me while I had the picture up? I already took it down but have promised to put it back up one of these days briefly so my friends who missed it can see me.\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"

to birdgirl73yep i saw...and i see it too...you do look like a white Hallie ^_^

alot of the things you say and just in general the way you come across as a person reminds me of my sister (i must add....this is BEFORE she became a raving bitch LOL) you seem like someone i could relate to and be good friends with in real life lol.

to birdgirl73You, too, Snookums! You remind me of one of my sisters, too! I'm sure we'd be good pals in real life. There are lots of people I get that feeling about on here. It really would be fun to hang out sometime in person at a big can.com party.

Do you like to cook, Snookums? My little sister, who is the one you remind me of, is working on learning how now that she's married. I used to cook a lot more than I do now that I'm in school, but that's what I'm doing right now as I'm surfing here--waiting for supper to finish in the oven.\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"

to birdgirl73i like to cook a little...mainly if i have a kick ass recipe i'm wanting to surprise my husband with, like for our anniversary or something.

plus i like to make things my mom used to make, stuff HER mom taught her...nothing special, just our familys "own little way" of making certain dishes.

and i loooooooove making fried okra lol!

to birdgirl73I LOVE fried okra better than almost anything. Seriously, I'd rather eat that than french fries any day, and it's great dipped in ranch dressing.

I definitely mostly cook sorta ordinary stuff. Tonight we're having red beans and rice and salad. Thought we'd celebrate my Louisiana heritage and raise a toast to Willie Nelson's good luck today. to birdgirl73Hey again. Had to take a break to eat supper and finish reading what I had to read.

You betcha you'll be my cannasister! I love that! And I'm assuming I'll be yours, too, right? Only I want to be your cannasistah. Just slightly, tastefully ghetto and cool . . . .

My husband finally came home from work and we ate. I nearly gnawed a leaf off the table I was so hungry by the time he got here. He always gets home late on Mondays. Hope you and Slipknot have a good evenin', sweet sister. I've got to go back and study some more. Talk to you later!\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"

i felt so happy today. we went up to my job to use my employee discount to get an envelope to mail all my hospital bill to my lawyer...i talked to a coupla my co-workers for a bit...and to one of my managers. i can't wait to go back...even though i'mma have to get re-drug tested and go thru the whole re-hiring process. (not worried, haven't smoked...its just a pain in the arse)

but one of my friends from work looked kinda surprised and happy to see me. i'm just frickin happy i can walk. i can do it w/o anything, but i have a cane just in case, because sometimes after awhile walking, it gets weak...
