Ok, so a few months ago it turns out i broke two vertibres in my back. I didnt find out i'd BROKE them untill recently, as my doctor only got the x ray results back... took long enough damn it.
Anyway, in the last few days my back's been getting worse, as in i woke up, and couldnt get out of bed, couldnt bend, and could only just about sit down.
The next day i couldnt even sit down because of the pain, its crazy.
Then it went, or at least wasnt so bad for about a day, but today when i woke up i got a twinge, sat down to come on cann.com and i couldnt sit down again.
It's so bad i cant dress myself, cos i cant bend down to pull on my trousers or my socks, i mean, 2 days ago i was sitting in my mates house and i got stuck...
Normally this would be funny, but i cant laugh with this pain, all im doing is shouting and moaning.
Now i've somehow convinced myself it could be some sort of cancer, and im shitting it [If only it didnt hurt to have a shit] BUT IT DOES...
Please someone help. This is so painful i'd rather cut of my toes with a rusty sharpended spoon..
I was meant to be going with some family to lay a stone on my grandfathers grave yesterday [sunday] but it was so bad i couldnt go because it would have hurt too much. That is why i've had enough of it. The pain is just annoying, but im not going to let it fuck the rest of my life around.
Thankyou in advance.

Untill you get into surgery, you should probably get a good anti-inflamatory like Celebrix or Arthrotec (though arthrotec can make you nautious). Some good painkillers would be Tylenol-3 with Codein, and even better would be Tramacet (or anything containing tramadol). Until you get some good prescription meds (I don't know why you don't already), pop about 600-800 mg ibeprophen (800 is kind of pushing it, even 600 is, but I do this all the time when I'm in too much pain and need it. You won't die of liver failure doing it a few times, I promise
) .
Also, make sure you frequently ice the injury points for 10 minutes, then follow up with a hot bath to relax the muscles. If muscle tension is a problem too, get yourself some Flexeril (a really powerful muscle relaxant, but it can make you feel sedated and kind of drunk).
And if all else fails, your doctor may be willing to temporarily give you some meds with morphine in them, such as Oxycodone, Oxycontin, Vicodin, and of course Vicodin's little brother Tramacet.
Best of luck to you LIP

Thanks guys. I hate the doctor, because all they prescribe is stupid synthetic drugs that dont do what their meant too, yet have 9 billjiliian side effects. I just dont the like doctor in general.
I just finished a joint, and the pain is still there, but it doesnt bother me if you know what i mean, so hopefully this will sort it out for the time being before i go to the docs [Which i probably will]
And i gotta go anyway cos i've got the shakes, had em for a while now.
Im falling apart.

And tramadol's addiction rate is nearly 0 (being on a partial morphine receptor agonist).
Come on LIP, you don't want to suffer so much that you're falling apart, and I don't want you to either, believe me I've been there. The only side effects are some euphoria, foggy-brainededness (I reserve my right to make up words), possibly some itching on a particular spot (the nose for me), minor constipation if used too much (won't happen from a couple uses) and some damn good relief.

Hey, LIP. So sorry your back is killing you. I'd have written earlier but was off at school, learning to be a doctor. After reading your messages, I definitely promise I'll work hard to be a likeable one that people want to come to.
I think Mr. Devious made some good recommendations about trying to set aside your dislike long enough to get some help. Back stuff is serious and disablingly painful, and if you're in so much pain that you can't function, you ought to at least ask what your doc can do to help. If you've found the synthetic painkillers don't work for you, ask him/her directly for the ones you know work well. It's true that when used properly to treat physical pain, most anyone, including people with addiction problems (docs prefer to steer around prescribing the stuff for actively addicted people, but recovered ones usually do fine), can get some relief from heavy-duty pain meds. Think of it this way: if you have these broken vertebrae and you do something to further injure your spine or a disk, you could find yourself in worse shape. Bad things can happen back there. Numbness, paralysis, incontinence, or erectile dysfunction are just a few of the potential further complications that, as a man, I'm betting you'd like to avoid.
Hope you get some relief soon and that you also have some Indica-heavy weed on hand to help as well. It kills me to hear of or see people in pain, and I can tell how bad you must be feeling from what you wrote. Take care, my friend.\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"
