Just read your story dude, was a good one you pulled. But something I spotted made me chuckle to myself.

Then you go on to say...(highlighted in bold)

Isn't the point of lying to make them aware (or not aware in this case) of something that is/isn't going on? You basically spelt it out to them, lol. But they didn't pick up on it, luckily.
