Best time to take a cutting?
I'm getting ready to take a cutting from my White Widow. I'm trying to figure out which way will give it the best chance to root? Should I cut and then put it under lights or should I cut and then put in darkness to start? Does it matter? Thanks

Best time to take a cutting?
Cut them and put them under some floro, maybe some CFL's. I keep mine under about 52w's of CFL's for the first 9 days or so then start to turn on some of the other CFL's. This round I took the cuttings at 30 days from seed. The reason I took cuttings so young is because the cuttings will stay in veg for months to come and be tested as mothers. When cutting to get clones to put into flower you want to wait until the plant is 6 to 8 weeks when growing from seed.
Take the cutting while in veg for best results IMO, flowered cuttings may take up to 60 days to return back to veg scycle.
