Natural selection. Ever studied evolutionary theory? It's way more awe-inspiring than any religious mumbo-jumbo, because we can actually explain the complexities of the world and and the process by which they got there, something the God hypothesis will never do.

As for why I'm answering the post, don't you think it would be appropriate for you to answer a post if the title was "PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE (something you believe in) ARE FOOLS"?

Please respect the right for people to believe in God...I have studied many facets to conclude that God exist...You quoted that you believe in evolution....That is a religion in itself...It is a theory on where things came from in an attempt to dismiss a creator. There is nothing in the world that is evolving today plant or animal...There is adaptation but there is no proof that an animal or single cell life form is evolving into a new species... I respect the person that started this post. If you dont then you shouldn't comment..Why is it ok for you to state your beliefs but not ok for somebody else that doesn't think like you to state theres... Like i stated if you are offended by spirituality then why do you always comment on threads that contain it???

Ah crap, I realize that in my post I lacked an expression of my respect for the opinions of others. And now I realize it's going to be very hard to reconcile that. I made a post in another forum section with a disclaimer at the top.. I'll copy it and paste here:

How do you know this? Please show me the research which you've done which proves this. Truthbetold, I haven't exactly done the research to prove that evolution IS happening. But I don't believe evolution as a religion so much as a name for the fact that the genetic code of any given species changes over time (long periods of time, at that.) because of a necessity to survive.

I did not know that about Darwin's father. However it's true that some scientists got their inspiration for the discovery of truths by strange things. I wish I could cite another example to support this conjecture... I'll work on that.

On that same note, I am open to the idea of the existence of a God. However I believe that there isn't really a common God and that each person's divine being manifests itself in unique ways. I could elaborate, but I think you get the idea.
