superthrive usage?
hi all,
im about to start my latest batch of everyones favourite herb and i have just bought some superthrive.
what i need to know is when would you surgest that i start using it on my seedlings?
shall i wait till i start giving them nutes? or should i start using it from the very first water. There is so many different theroies on this stuff (and the text on the pack is just gibberish!) that im not sure what do to, so i thought i would put it to the boards and see what everyone thinks i should do!
thanks all

before you fall for all the hype, Superthrive is a urine-based Vitamin B additive, that does a very good job of promoting root growth ... that's ALL it does, and overuse can kill your seedlings ... use it sparingly, and don't use it at all during flowering ... by the time flowering rolls around, your plant needs no further root stimulation ... :smokin:

superthrive usage?
cool. cheers chaps. it sounds like im on the right lines: i am going to use it during veg but not till plants r sporting at least 3 nodes.
Image: i cant make sense of what they have wrote on the packet, it is utter gibberish. It may be a great product but their package design leaves a lot to be desired...... Nearly put me off buying it as it looks v v v unprofessional.
smells like veggiemite....

I use it for everything except 12-12. Germination and , seedlings 2/3 drops per gallon veg, half a CC per gallon and transplants 10 per gallon and even as part of my foliar spray during veg.

Half a CC if you don't have any type of syringe or cup is approximately 10 drops from a dropper in my experience. I go to the pet store for syringes they cost about 50 cents. The garden store sales them for about 6 bucks, given they are very large, but I like to have a few around and the little ones do me just fine, when I need to get into TSP then I get a little measuring cup for a $1 at the garden store that gives me I think about a dozen or more tea spoons in measurements.
