"drug of choice" induction. re: mind over matter
This link takes you to submodalities. We have our 5 senses to detect the world around us. We also have those 5 senses in our minds. We could call these "modalities". Lets take the visual modality. An image in our minds has many attributes. Brightness... distance... 3D/2D... size etc. These can be called "submodalities". Remember a pleasurable time from your past. You will have a feeling associated with it. If you can become aware of the image notice where it is. Notice how bright it is. If you increase the brightness does that change your feelings? Turn it down till the picture is dim. Most people will notice when they darken the image the feelings diminish. This is not always the case. Everyones experience is different. It's a subjective thing. Double the size of the image. Do the feelings increase? Read the page on this link to get more attributes you can change.

Take a look through the rest of the encyclopedia. I'm sure you will come across other other things that may catch your eye. Anchoring is a good start.

Remember a time when you had a good experience while high. Go to the very beginning of the memory before you took your first draw. Now remember putting the joint/bong etc to your lips and inhale.
