A great book to get you started is "Using Your Brain: For a Change" by Richard Bandler, Steve Andreas, and Connirae Andreas. I think it may be out of print but you can get it on ebay. It was written in 1985 but is still packed with many techniques that are useful today even though a lot has been updated. One of the first parts asks the question "Who is driving the bus?". Most people go from day to day reacting unconsciously to events in their lives as they happen. They are the passengers on the bus. This book shows you how to get in the driver seat.
bhouncy Reviewed by bhouncy on . "drug of choice" induction. re: mind over matter From the mind over matter thread there was a debate if it was possible to get high without smoking. I had heard of the "drug of choice" induction but had never tried it. I found a simple technique to induce a high by remembering a time in the past when you have taken that drug. 1. Remember a time when you had a good experience while high. Go to the very beginning of the memory before you took your first draw. Now remember putting the joint/bong etc to your lips and inhale.
