    Cutting root in NFT system

:rasta: gently prise them apart! if it really is imposible then cut the minimum, the plants will suffer a hole load of shock! so treat them to some root stimulators and definately leaf nutes only, when transplanted start with a very weak sollution, with an EC value of say about 0.4,concentrate on getting those roots back before you let it grow anymore!,once they looking good, you can start to increase the level of food slowly over the space of a week or so,
dont forget when you need to dut clones, to feed only water for three of four days first, this will leech out any excess nitrogen from the mother and help those clones root quicker.
    good luck!:rasta:
