to harvest or not to harvest
I planted these in late may, was wondering if they are ready to harvest.
Different resource claim that the hairs should be brown, I checked the plants, the hairs seem to be brown from head to toe.
All pics are taken with flash on, so the white dots on the leaves are clearly visible.
I find it weird for the smallest one to have so much dots in comparison with the one with the big buds.. will the thinner one grow thicker or do I have to harvest it asap?
When do the plants reach their best point for harvesting?
anyone have any ideas on thisone?jekkos Reviewed by jekkos on . to harvest or not to harvest I planted these in late may, was wondering if they are ready to harvest. No, dont harvest yet. The plant in that second pic looks no where near full.

The first picture looks about 2-3 weeks away from harvest. The bud hasn't even swelled up yet, and that happens during the last 2 weeks of growth.
The second picture looks a good 6-7 weeks from harvest. Not even close.
Check the trichs with at least a 30x microscope on there. Look at the head of the trichs, and when they are about 100% cloudy, maybe even some red heads there, that is prime havest time.
You havest now, you will lose potency and yeild.
If you can't get a scope, the next best thing is to look at the color of the hairs. Usually when the hairs have turned 85% red/amber, harvest is near, but that can sometimes be misleading.
Also, look at the buds. When harvest time is nearing, look at the main cola bud. If the top buds looks loose, and a lot of white hairs are more present than actual leaf matter, harvest isn't ready yet. Like I said, the buds will swell up and more green leaf matter will be exposed. Kind of hard to explain, but hopefully you get the idea.

The longer you let your marajuana grow the more you'll get a body stone instead of a 'up' high. The THC changes into CBN which will give you the body stone. And wait for About 70% of the thrichromes to turn cloudy then your ready for harvest.Peace
