The universe wont collapse... or so the latest research says. They thought it was slowing down but now they have discovered that it is actually speeding up. So the universe will expand out of existence until all matter decays and only low energy photons are left.

i belive it...the collapse will invert everything as we know it...small will be big...balck will be white...old will be young..matter will be anti matter...time will untime...so i guess its pssible...the universe seems almost like a game of ping pong...

Astronomers using the Hubble Space Telescope found the exploding star about 10 billion light-years from Earth. The discovery bolsters the startling notion that the Universe has recently begun speeding up its expansion, which scientists first speculated three years ago based on the unusually dim light from other distant supernovas. "It shows that the expanding of the Universe is really speeding up and not slowing down as conventional astronomers had thought for 70 years," said University of Chicago astronomer Michael Turner.

As it says it is a recent discovery. Turns everything we know about the universe on its head.

i never said it was slowing down...i nearly said that evetually its gonna stop getting faster and evetually peak ....which will commence the start of the unvises collasping

time may be necessary to function in the world but dont let it rule your life....
