Every ballast I have seen has the wiring instructions on the ballast itself, with the spec/output information. If you can read a simple wiring diagram then you're good to go

yep all wiring instructoins are on the ballast you wiil se diagrams for 110 volt 240 volts and 300 volts just wire to your voltage and you are set.be safe the postman.

Why don't you just buy the complete setup?
Inside sun has them CHEAP.

dont forget the ballast needs a 3 prong cord they are like 5.00 at home depot and wiring them is cake

I just bought a 400w HPS with ballast and reflector for $120 on ebay. For another $30 I got a Metal Halide conversion bulb for vegging. I think the best bet is to get a HPS conversion bulb that will work with your existing MH Ballast.

I found a 400 watt HPS for cheap at www.insidesun.com for $100. You can always upgrade if you want. Great price doco
