That would be complicated, and it probably wouldn't work since it takes a lot of context to figure out some things (whether someone is using Celsius or Fahrenheit, whether "pounds" means the weight or the British currency, whether a "dollar" is American, Canadian or Australian, etc.). Just use Google for your metric system conversions and www.xe.com for currency conversions.

Currency and the Metric system Due to the fact that currency is frequently used on these boards to express prices in different locals, I think it would be nice to either have the site automatically convert all currency to the currecny of the user, or just allow the user to convert currency within a thread. This goes double for all metric conversions. Have them all be automatically converted, or at least have a conversion tool on hand. Rating: 5
