Weird bud

I recently got a oz of some bud for a farily cheap price. The guy I got it from is a good friend and has always been trustworthy. The bud look really great, and it gets me really high. I noticed recently (about 2-3 days after getting it), that there are little white "spots" in different places on the bud. I think it might be mould, but I have never seen mold like this before. They are just tiny white dots, almost as small as keif, but big enough to notice the individual "spots" on the herb. Any ideas what it might be?

Maybe its laced with crack, heroin, ectasy, LSD, and other shitty stuff that its really unlikey to be.
If it smells chemically - it may actually have somethin in it. I dont know what bud mould looks like so i cant say.

It's in all weed. Mainly what makes it sticky.

damn straight england rocks, although i did have sum funky bud, nice solid bud rite, shitloads of crystals and sticky as glue, but it tastes like twinings lemon tea, its bit funky and tastes really weird, but nice high, very sativa like!
dunno could have been laced, as ive had shit laced with crack, never heroin or shit like that

No these arnt the crystals ive been smoking for yrs i know crystals when i see em on a bud (hell i got 3 bud busters and a press), its different, its hard to show w/o a pic and i aint got a camera. And it isnt laced either. These "spots" are a tad larger then the crystals on bud and more separate. I think it may be the beginnings to mould but in all the times I have seen mouldy weed i never saw this before so it has me stumped. For the record, Im 100% born and raised Canadian, so I don't really worry about "bad" bud, well when I was younger but thats different.
