Growing in your parents home...
im not deceiving my 'loved one' being that my dad found me growing and his only concern was the temperature.
yeah, it is just a plant, so whys it matter? im not axe murdering young girls and stashing them in my freezer. no, im just 'responsibly' growing. i take precautions to avoid fire and other accidents it might cause. theres no point in me saying that theres nothing wrong with my grow, because you seem to think its wrong and so will all of your mod buddies. so, i respect your opinion, but disagree to an extent.

Do you not think though that it would've been better to approach the issue with him rather than just assume that he wouldn't care?

It's good that you're being mildly responsible by taking precautions and the fact of the matter still remains that it is simply a plant. But an illegal plant (as much as we wish it wasn't it still is) the point i'm trying to get across here is that when you live in someones house the owner of that house is responsible for what goes on...it's not a matter of "being responsible" it's a matter of law. Respect the law by respecting the property and wishes of others, that's all.

Klup, growing in your parent's house is not the point. Growing in their house without them knowing or without there permission is the point. It is there house, thus it is in their name, and even if it is your plant they could still get in trouble for it. It's cool that your dad is cool with it, thus this doesn't apply to you, but to the other people who are putting their parent's freedom in jeopardy. Think of how you would feel if someone found the grow and your parents went to jail. The simple fact is that yes, you may never get found, but what's to make you think that you are any different than the hundreds of other people who grow that get busted? Just be considerate, and think of others.
But don't give up on growing, just maybe wait til spring and try a guerilla grow outdoors somewhere on public land :rasta:

ok, i see your point about your parents being resposible. about the law, no, fuck that, i will never respect that law because i honestly think is dumb. anti weed campaigns and busts cost/ waste so much money that could be saving lives. kids hear bullshit that their parents or teachers or whoever feeds them, then theyre just another problem because they wont open their eyes, but thats off topic.
so i agree that you shouldnt grow if you are just going to be irresponsible and sloppy or if it migh affect others. i highly doubht ill be found, living in a quite a rural area, also that i grew a 3 footer on my side porch. i know theres always a chance, but theres always a chance something will happen with anything you do. still, i plan on doing a fluorescent/ lowryder grow at the end of the year.

Great advice bob. illl try and give some advice from a fathers point of view.If one of my sons or my daughter . was growing weed in the house without my permission i would be more upset by the fact that they never approched me or their mother first and even more upset that they found the subject unaprouchable. most fathers and mothers assume that their kids can approuch them with any subject i know i certianly do.so for one of my kids to go behing our backs and put the whole family at risk with out their permissoin.would be totaly unacceptable. So any kids out there who are about to or at this moment growing in their parents house without their permissoin.GROW UP and go talk to them .if they arent prepared to allow you to go ahead then they may be able to offer some other solutoin to your hobby but please dont go putting your whole families trust in you in the bin .the time will come when you have your own place and then you can perticapate in our great hobby to your little hearts are content.but until then be smart and be safe .the postman

For someone who smokes a lot of weed, you sure have a pretty arrogant stance when it comes to adhering to the law (both governmental and parental).
