    Growing in your parents home...

Many of you young growers have a heart of gold...unfortunatly...many of you also do not understand what i means to grow.

Growing in most countries is illegal(For most people). We all know that. Growing in your parents home without their knowledge is by far the worst thing that you could do. It is irresponsible, disrespectful and could very well destroy your families lifestyle and the relationship you have with them.

With that being said.. We at Cannabis.com will not support, advise, encourage or advocate the act of growing in someones house without their knowledge.

We will discourage this at every chance we get because responsible growers respect the law, and the wishes of others.

There is also the fact of saftey in this issue...if you build a poor setup, or try to conceal it to much. You can very well, start a fire.. and burn your families house down and possibly even kill someone.

This may discourage some of you from growing.. and if that is the case, I am happy...I am only happy about someones grow when it is done responsibly and on their own terms... not their parents.

The keywords here are "WITHOUT THEIR KNOWLEDGE."
You don't own a house... and when you do, you'll know what goes on in it.
    Cheers,
    Happy and Safe growing.
    Bob.

That certainly seems true, but I think that what is potentially much worse is growing when you have young children around. This could really destroy your immediate family. In fact, just posessing any amount of weed with young children around is probably just as bad as growing in your parents house, in terms of the law.

I follow and agree with you to an extent. I think it is very true in terms of smoking. Smoking with children around is just plain ignorant. You are right though, If one is breaking the law on a daily basis with small children around, they are obviously not considering what that is doing to the child and the possiblities of what could happen.

I can only imagine the pain of having your child taken away from you and yourself put in a 6x6foot cell.

And your parents will be proud of you for having a green thumb, istead of ashamed that they raised a dishonest little shit who cares more about getting high than he does about his family.

So for all you young'uns, go hang out in the veggie society forum and OPEN your minds!
Had to post it under this thread also.. it's the best advice a fellow member can give.

    Good post bob.

I agree 100% no one should put another persons home at risk. That is
selfish and irresponsible. The kids that are doing this should think of
what their parents do for them and know that it would brake their
heart if the police were to bust in and arrest their child in front of
them and possibly seize their property and arrest them also. A plant
is not worth putting over your loved ones.

Yeah, I took this into consideration and felt it was wrong to do. I waited all this time to be this age and I just sorta guessed I can wait another 2 yrs until I have my own place and a proper set-up. Even though I was allowed to grow here I couldnt do that. So I'm just waiting now again .

I don't think that applies for everyone. My husband and I grow. We have young children. It is for his personal use only. He got his prescription when he was diagnosed with a serious condition. By state law, it's legal. By federal law it's illegal. We have a private grow space that the children are not aware of.....yet. It's locked up and out of sight. We try to hide it as much as possible from them. We haven't decided what to do when the time comes to explain which will probably be in the next few years. I personally don't use. I dont need it (medically) nor I have a prescription for it (only my husband has a prescription) If I didn't have kids, I would most likely indulge . But for the sake of my kids I don't. I don't want my kids saying ..."but mommy does it, she's not sick, why can't I" It's not something I want my kids doing or want them to be thinking about doing.....period. Not till they're adults, but thats probably wishful thinking. I still have a few years.

not everyone has the luxury of living and growing on their own, some of us are just trying to save some money with a small hobby.

Thank you Bob for stating so eloquently what I believe to be great advice. If you take the risks into consideration it's cheaper to buy your stuff in the long run.

And you're supposed to take responsibility of your own Hobbies. That's the whole point. To growin someones house without their knowledge, is not responsible.

And I don't live alone.. I live with my uncle, who just so happens to use cannabis himself..and if he asked me not to grow, i wouldn't. Because both of our names are on the lease, we both take responsibility.

There is no excuse for decieving your parents or loved ones just so you can grow a plant.
