my method has given me 100% success rate for the last 4 years.

First take a dinner plate and place 2 paper towels on it. Run this under water until saturated.drain off excess water and place seeds on top. cover with 1 paper towel.

VERY important! do not put any more water on seeds for 48 hours.

Place plate in a cool, moderately dark area and wait.
within 24 to36 hours, the paper will begin to dry and the seeds will crack open and expose the tap root.

As soon as the tap root is visible, take tweezers and place the seed in your pre watered pot so that the tap root is parrallel to the soil surface. Gently push the seed into the soil until the top of the seed is flush with the soil.

DO NOT COMPLETELY COVER THE SEED

within 2 days you should notice the seed has moved above the surface. at this point the tap root is growing so take tweezers and gently pull the seed husk off the primary leaves. If hus does not come off with ease, use your tweezers to crack the husk and try again in 4 huors.

once the seed husk is removed, give the little girls a shitload of light and watch em take offimp:

few questions.

Do i dampn the 3rd paper towl? the one u use to cover the seeds? or is one of the 2 towls ran under water used to cover the seeds?

You said put the seeds with the two paper towls in a "COOL" place. ive always heard a warm place. so yes warm? or it also works in cool?

also when you said you took the germed seed and put it into the pre waterd pots did you leave them in the dark? or did you put the lights on them?

so would the perlite have any effect on the seedling not growing once its germinated? like not allowing the seedling to get to the soil? i think i might be having the same problem. thanks
