Smoking out of Metal

I have allways been a big fan of glass. Not only for the quality of the smoke and the art, but because of the fact that all your inhaling is the herb itself instead of all those chemicals you get when lighting metal bowls. Does anyone know of any links confirming the myth?

funnily enough, I used to always use metal pipes but wanted a glass one, saved up, bought a steam roller and its hits were nasty and totaly left my throat very sore. so i left it for a while. Later on I purchased a hand blown glass spoon and fell in love with it and it hits nice too. funny huh
