    UPDATE ON MY FIRST GROW!!

    high stress training is topping bend a plant pver will not stress her enough to cause any damage ive done it this way to quite a few plants they recover in 24hrs or less.

    as for the string it take me under 5 min to LST very quick and easy using string

    We're not planning out the future of the United Nations here, but I think some friendly discussion entails::::

    We have a problem of 'terminology' here, as I see it.

    From what I understand, LST is when you bend a plant over, WITHOUT the stem "snapping", "kinking" or "bending sharply". Smooth radius bends.

    HST = High Stress Trainning, from what I understand, is NOT topping.

    Topping = Topping = FIMing

    HST is when you take a plant's stem, bend it until it kinks, and then carry on.
    So, with HST, you're stressing the shit out of them because they have to repair what you do to them.

    Reagarding:::::

    I agree.

    It is amazing to see how, a plant that you bend, takes a couple of hours to point its self in the direction of the light bulb. Simply amazing.

    Guys Thank you so much for the input! i appreciate it so much!
    I think imma gonna go with LST for the last plant also. The cluster fucked plant is filling out like crazy everu since i tied it down. The other one i put way to much stress on and 2 stems got pulled off but none the less im having a great time learning and growing! hheres this pics of the 2 i tied down and another of the one im about to tie down(it also has nice under growth).

    UPDATE ON MY FIRST GROW!!

    eh just a thought, everything looks nice, and this may be just a matter of preference, but if you cut the top off ur plants they will get more side growth. They wont turn out to look like that plant that was "given to ya." Looks like some kind of sativa climbing vine. The stuff u got goin looks nice healthy and compact. Good job this is my first time experimenting with only flouros too. Looks like they are working great.

    Could you snap some more pics of her?
    Guys: Could it be a polyploid [sp?] one?

    Topping::::::
    top=topping=FIMing
    FIM = Fuck I Missed

    When topping, the idea is that you cut out the top of the plant, and she'll grow two or more spreads in that top.

    From my experience, it takes about 2-3 weeks for the plant to 'recover' from such topping.

    Do a search limited to the Advanced Section... I know there's various kick-ass threads that explain, in much detail and with pictures, what's FIMing and how should it be done.

    IMHO, this is wrong.

    I'm not an expert, but::::
    I believe that you should permit a plant at least 2 weeks (aprox) to recover before 12/12ing them.
    If you top, don't 12/12 immediately.

    And I wouldn't FIM if I'm in 12/12.

    But what the hell... that's the best thing about this... EXPERIMENTATION.

    Best to you all,

    .
    turtel you could be right .Stylus could you get some good pic of the weird plants as it may be polypiod . and from what i have learned i will go with turtle on this and say always give at least 2 weeks after topping before going 12/12 you want at least that time for the plant to recover from the stress .Plants should be a stress free as possible during 12/12.be safe the postman.
