If the weed isn't flushed, you might get harsh and gross smoke from it, but it should NOT crackle and pop. I have seen this kind of weed before, it is most surely laced or sprayed with something. It is possible that it was foliar fed, and never washed or something, but most likely it has something sprayed on it to kill brain cells.....Throw it out. Also keep in mind your dealer might just be a meat head and not know the difference. These kinds of things usually come from the grower who grew shitty weed but wanted people to get high.

A few times I picked up some hydro (completely seedless) that sparkles and pops when you burn it. Smoking it, I noticed I started having sharp headaches and getting blurry vision in one eye several hours later. Someone told me that this is due to the weed not being flushed before it is harvested, something all hydro growers have to do.
