Lol, come on man. You MUST have experienced the memory loss that cannabis consumption causes. I forget stuff almost instantly, i'm like that fish from Finding Nemo.

All I know is, it's not the food i'm eating or the music i'm listening to. Havn't you ever met a dealer and they talk like they're brain is working 50% slower then everyone else? It's cause they bun everyday of every week of every month, etc. Townies talk like fucking morons because they abuse draw to the absolute limit.

Then again (and this literally hit me at the end of that last paragraph), look at alcoholics! Alcohol is a highly acclaimed, easily accessible drug that easily makes people violent, irresponsible and a danger to themselves and everyone around them. When you get addicted to it, you need it to get through the day, you get a FAT gut, you smell like shit, you can't get a job and noone respects you. We call them pissheads and we say it's their own fault for drinking too much. Now that I think about it, people can get mildly addicted to cannabis and smoke it everyday but they can still fill out an application form.

Hmm, I just contradicted myself there ! The thing is I really don't know whether cannabis should be legal or not. If it is, how would it change things? Surely not ALL for the better. All I know is, i'm fine with it being illegal but most of the time, easily obtainable. If you get caught with it your only gonna get a finger wagging and a drive home , who cares.

NOTE: The above is a prime example of what happens when you smoke cannabis. You can't make your bloody mind up about anything !

Oh yeah, and grades ARE everything man. I'm not gonna go to university without them, which means i'm not gonna get a good job and lead the good life I want without them. That's what's important, much more important then getting stoned, unless your idea of a good life is living in a cardboard box in an alley with nothing but lots of joints. See what I mean?

Yes, that's true. We don't have it nearly as bad as pot smokers in China, Japan, Indonesia or Libya must, but I still have to say I would prefer Dutch cannabis laws over ours any day of the week!

Another theory why it's illegal is because the government can not tax it if it was legal. Cannabis is a versatile plant. It can be used as a narcotic; medicinal use recreational. Hemp can be used for making clothes, ropes, and weed can even be a different source of fuel!! Although many studies have proved weed as harmless, it won't be legalized anytime soon. The American Governtment is greedy. Imagine this, if it is legalized, everyone would have they're own little weed gardens, and farmers would be growing it left to right. The government would have nowhere to tax it from. Everyone would be free to grow it themselve, hence there wouldn't be a need to go somewher to buy it if you're growing it yourself. I'm pretty sure some stores would sell weed, but what would the point be of buying it legally, when you could be growing it by the pounds and ounces all for the price of some good seeds! Hence there is no revenue for the government to make off the legalization of MJ!

You're right, townies/dealers who smoke nonstop 24/7 do talk like morons.. And I have experienced short-term memory loss etc, and I know it's from smoking a hell of alot of weed

BUT, to me, money isn't everything.. our rights and our freedom is being taken from us.. we're not free to choose if we wanna smoke up or not.. to me, having our right to choose is more important than grades..

It just sucks that to lve the life we wanna live we have to earn money to do it.. if only we lived in a utopian society.. sigh lol

To GT, the fact that smoking is outlawed and that's taking away our rights etc doesn't bother me. I can still do it! Only Americans bullshit about their rights being taken away for small, insignificant things. The point is, we're barely allowed to do anything without their being some kind of law or restriction about it, if i'm gonna start on weed I might as well carry on to everything else I like to do. I like smoking, so I do it. It's illegal, but has that stopped ANYONE on this forum?

Wow, when you talk about "going to university" and all your grades, I start to see how young most of you are. I personally think smoking bud in high school is more detrimental than beneficial, at the end of the day. We love being high, but it really does make things hard to do so well. I smoked all thru high school, and never did that well. There are many who can indulge and handle things fine. But there are most who lean more towards abuse, and it can really mess your head up.

Your grades and money do matter, sad as it is. The world is revolved by money, and most people are consumed by it. None of us are happy about it, but that's how it is. It is important to do well in school, and it really will, **sigh**, have an effect on your whole life. Go easy on drugs or drinking at such a young age.

I've been toking pretty constantly for over 20 years.
I use for depression, so I toke every day, at least 2 or 3 times, except when I can't get any.

I've acted in over 50 plays, and have no problem memorizing and remembering my lines while stoned.

But I didn't start regular use until I was out of high school, rarely drink alcohol since my 20s, don't take any pills except vitamins and the occasional aspirin or advil, only snorted coke a handful of times (never bought any), and very occasionally trip. I am a regular cig smoker and coffee drinker, however.
