yes there's been a few threads on this already. you're right about the plant not being flushed 2 weeks before harvest. when there's nutes that haven't been flushed it tends to give the weed a harsher smoke. why you're getting headaches i'm not sure but it should be safe to smoke.

A few times I picked up some hydro (completely seedless) that sparkles and pops when you burn it.
