Road trip....fuckin cops.... ok...a few wks ago, me and my girl and daughter took a lil trip fom up north to TN to visit my mom...my grandad let us take his car(2002 Lincoln Town Car)...had no problems tha whole time until.....we jus went thru nashville on I40w towards memphis, i know this Interstate like the bak of my hand and i know that rite outside of nash. they sit in the median in un marked yukons/suburbans and shit....were jus cruisin bout 75(speed limit 70) i c a few of them in the median bout to pull out...one Rating: 5

Even though you had nothing for them to find,I would have told them nicely that I DO NOT consent to ANY searches whatsoever nor do I give up ANY rights I have against unreasonable search or detainment.Let them waste their time getting the fucking K-9 out to sniff the car if they want to search.Frankly,that's my standard response ANY time I get pulled over for ANY reason.I basically ignore any questions other name,license and registration.If they ask "did you know how fast you were going?" I'll answer with a question like"I don't know officer,how fast did you clock me at?"I WILL NOT give a direct answer to ANY question that might be used against me.And after every question they ask,you should ask "am i being arrested...or may I go now?"Either they will write the ticket and let you leave or they HAVE to arrest you.And if they haven't got a REAL reason to arrest you,they'll usually let you go.If they are REAL dicks,they MIGHT call the K-9 out to do a sniff of you and the vehicle to get probable cause for a search,but I haven't seen one call my bluff yet.They always back down and let me go on my way.Then again,the most weed I ever have in my car is 1 joint maybe a roach or 2 in the ashtray.And also I am a middle aged white male,NOT a teen or a minority.I got my share of tickets and rousting as a teenager.But even then,I never consented to diddly squat,though I used to be more forthcoming with answers to cops questions until I became friends with a good lawyer and was advised that I should NEVER answer ANY questions more detailed than name,insurance registration without legal counsel present.Even admitting "Yes I knew i was speeding" to a cop is NOT good for you.Which is why I answer them with that question of"how fast did you clock me at?" rather than admitting I know how fast i was driving.

And those DARE stickers don't do much good.Ive seen multiple episodes of COPS where their suspect had 1 of those on their bumpers.They still get busted.
