Transition
Does anyone think that within this lifetime a transition to a higher vibratory plane is going to occur for the entire planet?
This is the thing that happens and we call it "death". Only with death we do not keep our bodies, we lose them and must go to this higher plane in a "spirit" form.
Supposedly, this is the last age of materialism on earth, and it's ending only within a few years, the earth will shake and rumble, destroy all life on it, and those who are the peak evolutions of the planet, those who are "ahead" in the game we've all been playing for about 16.4 Billion years are going to be able to "carry" their physical bodies over to the other side. And then still exist on this planet, because the planet itself along with the entire solar system, is going through this very same transition for the first time and it's own energies will raise and become 4th/5th dimensional.
This is supposedly what "Jesus" was talking about when he talked about moving to another sacred place and taking on a new form and body, this is what metaphysics describes and many "prophets" or meditators. Most eastern knowledges cover this, while in the west it's only taught as myth.

"What do you think? Do you think this will happen within your lifetime?"
I suppose the logical question is how do you know all this to be true? Because honestly, it sounds like something the Hale Bopp guy came up with while he was mixing the koolade.
Some of the basics are there though. As a species we do need to evolve into more responsible, civilized and sophisticated beings, to match our advanced knowledge and technology. How that's going to come about though, remains to be seen. I imagine we're probably going to get our asses kicked until we wise up. Until then it's going to be a tough row to hoe.

Higher vibratory plane? What is vibrating? What is this flat surface made out of? Where is it? What is creating the energy that is driving the vibration, and how are you measuring the vibration's frequency?
Until I see some evidence that "vibratory planes" exist in the first place, I'm not exactly equipped to form beliefs about how they operate and what their effects on humanity are.

I've read widely I would hope, and meditated, and have done for nearly 25 years, and I also believe in the quantum reality you describe, but I don't believe that we're about to go anywhere or 'change planes'. The whole idea of the 'last age' that some traditions talk about has been hi-jacked by all kinds of fundamentalists into meaning everything from the second coming to our transit through one of our galaxies molecular clouds. I don't buy it, it's yet another New Age scare story.

Your idea of everything "vibrating" reminds me of string theory, but if that's the kind of vibration you're talking about, I don't want to achieve a higher vibratory "plane", because then all my electrons, protons and neutrons would suddenly become other particles and the whole atomic structure of my body would not be able to function correctly. Well, actually only a cross-section of my body. It would have to be a vibratory cube or sphere or something to encompass the entire three-dimensional space that I inhabit.

I do read...a lot. But I'm guessing you're getting your physics from the Celestine Prophesy instead of a physics book. The New Age isle at Barnes and Noble is a lot of fun of course, but most of it really does need to be catagorized as fiction.

Now.
For one to understand these things you have to have a connection to what one might symoblize as your "higher self'. So. If you want to understand. I say meditate. Meditation never helped me find my higher self. But it seems to help others.
This is not theory. This is not suspended logic, myth, fantasy, or a book quality. It is experience.
