Arh problems with the yellow fiend..

    Hi all.

Am pretty new to indoor growing, and have run in to some problems already
About 2 weeks ago the lower leaves went yellow, and then about 3 days later they dried up and dropped of.

Thinking this was over watering, I backed right off, but I am not seeing any improvement, in fact its now working its way to the next set of leave as you can see here. I have used fertilizer a couple of times, but haven't used any since this started. when I was using fert, I used low amounts and only twice. Have a PH meter on the way to check if its a ph problem from the Fertiliser, but really not sure. Growth has slowed right down to a crawl now.

There under a 400w MH, which is about 2 1/2 - 3 foot above and a fan is on 4 hrs a day. oh and they are in a multi compose soil if that helps.

any advise please as so far the problem seems to be getting worse.

    Thanks

Arh problems with the yellow fiend..

what kind of nutes and ferts are you using.. looks like you need some N

if i were you i'd repot those into bigger pots, then cover up SOME, not all, of those huge stems with some soil, then put a stake in the soil and tie them to it, and then drop the lights to within a foot or a foot an a half of the plants

can any pros out there back me up on this???(mobay, zandor, postman,...) cuz im not sure if that will cure the problem but it will help

Arh problems with the yellow fiend..

Ive used a 10-2-2 solution, which is in the form of baby bio. I didnt think that they would require much as the soil looked to be very fertile.

However tonight as an experiment I have gone with what you said, on one of the 6 I have growing, and given a nice helping of what I currently have. Will monitor this one and see if there are signs of improvement, I beleive this will be visable in 3 - 4 days if correct.. it is all learning for me tbh at present.
