i work at mcdonalds and its disgusting. After every round of burgers on the grill we have to get a squeegy (same kind you use on your car except mini) and squeegy the greese off the grill. By around 8:00-9:00 at night the cheese is dark orange and hard, and the bacon has been sitting out in the open for around 5 or 6 hours. All the condiments such as onions, lettuce, tomatoes pickles etc sit in the open and we dont use gloves to put together the burgers. On a slow night/day the chicken products and meat are usually an hour or more old, and cold. The only things that are remotely clean are toasted deli sandwiches (except the "steak" looks like dog food), the salads (except they get the old chicken on them) and the baked apple pies.
