It's hard to tell from those pics and your description may need your npk and light source included.I have seen plants do this when not getting enough light....Like 20 watts per sq foot at that stage(30 being the min).You said your lights were at 5 inches so I might assume you're using flourescents which can cause this lightening of leaf color.You might have too low a ppm of nitrogen but only you'd know.Perhaps a little more info and we can help.

PICS ok guys these baby girls are about 2-2.5' tall and are placed into 5 gallon buckets. lots of holes so good drainage. this is day 5 of 12/12 and the top leaves and new growth seems spindly and weak. it is yellowing somewhat but I have heard that is normal for light shock in the first week of flowering. I use ph balanced water and nutes and check it every time. I haven't begun flowering nutes yet I was told to wait for a week of flowering and will be watering with big bloom in a couple days. can Rating: 5
