i got the game yesterday and it is fuckin awesome and i think that was a blunt in his hand cuz in this one mission i have already seen someone smoking one

I'm pretty sure it is a blunt. If you play the missions, you can totally tell that they're smoking blunts. You can tell by the way they inhale, and how they offer it to CJ (of course CJ refuses, saying he's not into that shit). They also make tons of references to it in their dialogue. They never say the word, but you know that they're talking about weed.

Even the pedestrians talk about weed a lot, and a lot of them (especially CJ's gang members) just stand there smoking blunts. Some of the pedestrians are smoking blunts in their cars too. One of them said "Hey, do you lift weights? Cause I lift joints." And another guy in the convenience store said (after I bumped into him), "Can't you see I'm busy being high?"

The weed references are everywhere in this game. It's so awesome. In VC the drug was cocaine, and in SA it's weed. I love it.

Man, there are so many weed references in this game it's crazy!

**SPOILER**
One of the later missions shows Samuel L. Jackson's character smoking out of a colorful bong, and he was really high. It was pretty funny.

And almost every pedestrian talks about weed! Also, if you follow a pedestrian, they'll stop and have conversations with ppl, and they talk about weed a lot. Here's just a few more lines that I've heard ppl say so far:

"Hey man where the weed at?"
"Hold on, lemme go get some chronic."
"Man, I love doing drugs!"
"Man, you blowing my high."

This game is hilarious!

There are so many funny quotes in this game, it's amazing. Even if you don't game, it's still worth it to buy this game just to hear all the funny stuff the pedestrians say.
