When the plant seems to have used up all the nutrients or seem to be in need for more (foliage of green is getting ligther in shade) thats an indicator that it needs nutrients.

Take what it says on the box and divide by 4. Then gradually work up to full strength of the directions.
But miracle grow sucks.

do NOT fertilize for the first 3 weeks ... dilute the Miracle-Gro to the recommended strength for "foliar' feeding (should be on the label) ... then spray the mix onto your plants once a week, especially the underside of the leaves ... don't fertilize the soil ... this is a good way for a beginner to utilize nutes, as it is almost impossible to over-fertilize by the foliar method ... you will have many more problems from too many nutes, than not enough ... :smokin:
