Mr berrys was indeed a postman .but was a crooked one and lost my job lmao.just kidding i was a postman for 10 years and had to leave because of illness but loved the job and hated fuckin dogs and xmas time.royal mail to mate.i will be posting this till harvest just to see all the info on breeding i can collect.buk . the stuff mobay sent was shit hot :rasta: and the first go at that strain i had was a heavy yeild and the smoke was exllent but not qiuite as good as the stuff i got from mobay .Gotta tell you mate that was some kick ass weed he gave me:stoned: .yebatab mobay is on vacatoin in some sunny climate some were lol or he has harvested those k2s and is lying baked at home but he will be back soon cause if he is away yet then all he will be thinking about is his plants .what nutes you people usin Buk,mrberrie yabatab im asking cause this grow i changed to the canna range ,terra veg and flora ,rizotonic ,boost and pk13/14 and i gotta say this stuff is working well for me i see masive differance from dr hornbys.these plants are only 5 weeks 12/12 on saturday and coming on great. any one else use or used canna nutes let me klnow your feeding chart just wanna compare with my own method.be safe the postman.

erm im using mother earth 100%organic veg tea and bloom.. o and i used a bit of baby bio on my first grow lol.. you learn from your mistakes.. i would say the ferts i use work well.. but i havent tried anythin else as i only have few grows under my belt.. was thinkin of goin canna nutes or dr hornbys sweet leaf sounds good mabe next grow.. i have to get some super thrive too as i have heard good things about it.. i love this hobby its the nuts:dance:

yeh man its theraputic growing our plant..dr hornbys is good shit but im leaning towards the canna range.i also use superthrive all through veg and the first week of flower.man baby bio i remember my first ever grow baby bio and miricle grow .you should have seen the state of those buds man all rusty and burnt ,but we all learn man.be safe.the postman.

Yo PMD I'm using terra vega and terra flora, cannazyme and early i use rhizotonic. Actually, we feed them every day, a controlled amount. Say 300ml, we increase and the plant uses more and more during veg. In flower, we feeds them every other day, a similar controlled amount. Say around 300mL also. I only had super minor nute burn in the very early stage of vegging. I think i hit them with the nutes too early. Oh well this is the first time growing for me.

So far i've got the ak, purps and some UL haze #2 seeds i got from dr chronic just sprouted, so i have 4 little babies of that too.

dusto im feeding by the chart and i am in week 4 of flower and one or two plants are starting to show a minor touch of nute burn
i also talked to a freind who said that the genral consensas was a ml per litre when using canna nute you ever heard of this .be safe the postman.

POSTMANDAVE...wierd, for cannazyme i put 8ml per gallon, for terra flora we put 18-19 ml per gallon. THis is off the back of the bottle. I don't see any detriment to the plants. I'm sure if I do, i will cut back the amounts slightly.

got one plant in here that is shown signs of nute burn ,which i cant understand. why not all the plants??it may be heat stress with the lamp too low as the affected plant is right under my 600 watt.have a look anyone any ideas.the lamp has been about 16 inches from the conopy but the temp here rose for a few days so it could be that.the postman.

Found this in a article this talks of the differant problems with following the instructoins on the back of the nute bottles.the postman.

Canna and other Dutch companies generally recommend even higher values. So the necessity of being aware of this formula is quite apparent. Although one really must ask how the plants should survive long term on values of 2,0 – 2,2 EC, most customers actually use such strong dosages in their grow because they are unaware of this essential information. The result is not only a waste of fertilizer in hydroponic set-ups. Plant care also becomes much more complicated and problematic. Regular flushings with water are necessary at such high EC levels. On the one hand the plants grow very fast (they stretch, get leafy, etc.), and on the other hand they develop complex symptoms of over- and underfertilization from the high salt content in the substrate. In the end massive overdoses of nutrients lead to a high risk of mold in the flowering phase, reduced levels of resistance against pests, lower yields, and possibly pose a health risk from radioactive traces in the cannabis (from phosphate).

Soil

For the cultivation on soil there is a common rule among cultivators to use 50% of the recommended dosages. Growers follow this rule without actually knowing what salt concentration they are feeding their plants with. For soil cultivation an EC meter is the most important tool to find out what the proper dosage is. This is why everyone who values their plants should not save on this rather moderate investment of 50,- Euros!

To demonstrate how important the EC value is we have tested 5 popular types of fertilizer. Only the fertilizer for flowering was selected because during this phase growers fertilize the most (after the motto: more fertilizer = more yield) and during this part of the life cycle plants become increasingly sensitive to excess salts.

Before we look at the results it is important to understand one thing: generally one should never fertilize more than 0,8 EC on soil.
That's why the first important step is to find out what the EC of your tapwater is. In this example we are using a 50-50 mix of osmosis water and normal tapwater to get 0,43 EC. Obviously, if you have a value over 0,8 in your tapwater you have to lower the EC value through filtration. For small gardens it´s sufficient to use a Britt Filter if you do not have the money to buy a household osmosis filter (approx. 150,- Euros). The Britt filter can reduce the EC value by 0,15-0,20. Another alternative would be to buy 5L bottles of mineral water when you fertilize. Good mineral water has approx. 0,25 EC.

Here are the test results on our water with 0,43 EC (measured on Hanna Dist 3 meter).

The amazing thing about these instructions is the inaccuracy of the amount to fertilize on soil. What does "less" mean? If we were to use the common rule and mix 50% of the recommended dosage we still get an EC of 2,0! That would lead to immediate symptoms of overfertilization. Even at 25% of the dosage we are still in the danger zone. With 0,5ml/L or 6% of the recommended dosage we finally have a safe solution! This example shows how important it is to have an EC meter at hand.
