Here's a pic of the cuttings I'm trying to root. Notice how I planted them near a large lake to raise humidity The lake is filled with hot water that I will refill daily.

im no old school pro but my method to cloning is.....
NOTE: i have bad luck with most rooting hormones i use DIP&GROW
1.select location i look for a branch with a lot of growth nodes
2.make 1st cut @ lowest point below lowest growth node
3.cut leaves in 1/2 or 1/3 but leave most of the ones close to the crown (cut leaves for resperation reason's if u dont know research it a lil)
4.make 2nd final cut BELOW the lowest growth node but make it right below it maybe leave a 16th of an inch of stem below the node or less (iv had luck cuting the node in half on mistake)
5.put in dip and grow (mix to 20x dillution) for 10-45 seconds (to long and it can harm your plant or make it take longer to root)
6.after dip&grow i put in 1x1x1 rockwool cubes and wait 5-15 days for roots to show:dance:

i personaly clone pre budding branches and i do a 18hr cycle waiting for roots after rooted i go 12/12 in dwc hydro buckets 3 1/2 gal

I don't know if you can tell from that pic, but I had cut the tips of the leaves as well

I'm on the second day of flowering. I fed them tonight a couple of minutes before the light came on. I fed them with the same that I had fed during veg since the flowers are not here yet. I will change over to big bloom when I see that they are girls

I can see why people say that you can grow more with HPS. It's very noticeable when you change over from MH. It just seems "sunnier" with HPS light at the same wattage.

Hey Pass that thanks for the input on my thread. Ive actually been following your thread too and I have to say you got some nice lookin plants there. I have to say my Veg box is not filled with such happy plants. How often are you watering from clone through veg? I am growing a decent plant in veg that I think Im going to mother and take a bunch of cuttings from what I learned so far on this thread. What does cutting the leaves do? Again thanks for the post and I look forward to ur next pics.

Omega, LOL....That's what I'm talking about

McMike, I started these from seeds and they just entered the flowering stage. I don't know if they are male or female. I took two cuttings of the two plants that were taller. I don't water the cuttings since they don't have any roots yet. I just mist them and keep them warm. As far as watering the plants, I just wait until the pot gets light weight and then I water heavy. Tonight I used the same "mixed" fertilizer I mentioned earlier in this thread.

The center pick was topped. It's showing alot of bud sites so I hope this one turns out female but I'm sceptical of it cause it's the fastest and tallest growing plant in there. The cutting on the right is still erect. I only used the take root powder and water so far.

    EckyThump,

You don't want to expose the roots to direct sunlight. They will recover, but the shock can slow them down.

Today I moved the plants away from the low corner and up to the center of the room. The light is now above them. Pruning the two in the back helped even out canopy height pretty well. I put the smallest plant in the center hoping it will catch up.

I'm gonna guess and say that 5 of the 8 will be females but if this grow goes like my last one, I'll only get 4. I'll be happy with 3 since they are White Widows. Can't wait to taste these bitches
