Also, isn't it in the Gospel of Mark 16:9-20 which states that whoever does not profess belief in Jesus is to be burned in hell for all eternity? It doesn't matter if you were a good person, but simply if you profess with your lips that Jesus is Lord.

Psst....Mark 16:9-20 was actually added in to this Gospel years later when the official church was organizing itself. Ironically, the first passage is demonizing Mary Magdalene by having Jesus remove 7 demons from her. Bear in mind the the Gospel of Mark is said to have been the first canonical gospel written between 60-70 AD. The ONLY other place that shows Mary had 7 demons is in Luke..which was written around 10-20 years after Mark!
