i dont think he wants to know the problem exactly out right...he is more asking if he lowered his yeild by trimming...and the answer is yes you did...the leaves absorb light...store food and most of all...absorb light...yes i said it twice cuz that is 2 times of importance than anything else you can give to a plant...i would say you may have reduced up to 50% from straining your plants....my mom does the same shit...pisses me off...cuz she has beautiful plants...but what happens is you cut a leave...the plant takes all of its organisms from the growing of the plant and sends them over to the cut site to heal the area...after that...they are sent to another area that you just cut off...and sooner or later...it is stressed out...and stunts your growth and/or bud yeild....will you still have bud....more than likely yes....but it wont be as much as you wanted it to be...of coarse...it is never enough as we need...but thats my 2 cents...PEACE
