In the fields of psychology and psychoanalysis, Napoleon complex (or Napoleon syndrome) is a colloquial term used to describe a type of inferiority complex suffered by people who are short. The term is also used more generally to describe people who are driven by a perceived handicap to overcompensate in other aspects of their lives.
Hehe nice cut and paste there einstein

It probably seems cliche, but I'm going to suggest it anyway. There are several medications that help with depression and anxiety, all you have to do is get a doctors appointment and ask to see a psychiatrist. If antidepressants sound too offsetting (used to make me dream of satan), then psychotherapy could always help.

Hey Slowburn...there are worse things in life than looking young. I know right now, looking younger than you are may seem like it's holding you back in life but there must be a lot of positive qualities that you have that can get you ahead too. Focus on the great things about you.

Seriously, if you had a friend who was in the same situation as yourself, how would you feel about that person? Wouldn't you look at him for the great person he is? Be a friend to yourself. You deserve that, don't you think?

My friend Donny always amazed me. He was always ugly as shit yet always the most popular guy and the focus of every party. Why? Cause hes the coolest most outgoing guy youll ever meet.

Its like a bad haircut. You feel like an awkward doofus at school but since its in your head thats what you are thats how you tend to act and how people tend to percieve you. The key is believing that you are the coolest guy alive while being authentic and not being a dick.

For some reason, I know quite a few people in your situation... But i'm not necessarily friends with them, mostly becuase they went the opposite direction of you, they developed a psychological complex that makes them act tough and an asshole to everyone.
Do you know if you have an actual disease, or a hormone problem, or??
You must realize, your problems are always temporary. Distress fades, confidence develops, happyness can be acheived. Never give up.
I would definately suggest you stick with your old friends however. You don't need to go to school with them to be with them.
You could try meeting new people through them, expirementing with your social interactions in the safety of their companionship. Once you overcome the self-pity, the depression, the lack of confidence or social anxiety, there won't be any more problems. It all comes from within.
Inferius you have the ability to make sense of anything. I am still friends with my old friends from school cuz i have known them since 3rd grade. And im not a mean person mainly because i know what its like to be treated bad and i would hate myself knowing that i caused someone else trouble in their life. My dad had the same problem when he was my age, and then when he turned 18 he grew alot, i hope its like that for me. anyways thanks for the advice everyone it has really helped me out.
