Thats because cops and the government make more money selling crack and coke than they ever will selling weed. You can't grow crack or heroin. My one old dealer that I don't deal with anymore said he doesn't make shit off of weed, which could explain why he never calls me back. lol.

I tell ya, as soon as I move out of my house and get my own place, I am growing my own weed. I am sick and tired of dealing with artificially inflated prices and asshole drug dealers who only have schwag anyway. You figure if you have decent lighting and soil, a plant usually averages about 2-3 ounces and if you grew maybe like 5-6 plants under a 400 watt HPS light, you could be set for almost a year if you only smoke like a gram a day and don't sell any of it.

Forgive me if I don't like to support organized crime and I refuse to pay such high prices for weed.

i'd say a plant harvests about an ounce to an ounce in a half, and i would expect the worst and hope for the best, but i agree with you GS. when i move out i'm growing my own bud, talked with my 2 roomates and they said they were cool with it.

Growing plants for your own personal use is apparently rather safe, look at that chart and notice somewhat minimal indoor operation busts, and I'm sure those busts that did occur were on big indoor ops...Hundreds of plants, not just a few plants for the old hippie I'd say you're almost safer not letting anyone in about your growing and don't buy it off the streets.

if you want maximum harvest, grow a pure sativa outdoors all season long. You can get up to a pound of bud from sativas.
