Why do you smoke Cannabis?

To be honest, I try to limit my smoking. I rarely smoke alone, because I do not like it. I always end up being alone, doing nothing. If I am with friends, then we entertain eachother, and then usually end up with a funny story to tell for another occasion. Personally, I don't see anything wrong with marijuana. It helps me to enjoy the moment, makes me laugh, makes me wonder. Being productive in life is a great thing, but if you never take a moment to relax and enjoy something, then your life wouldn't be worth living. Sure, I enjoy other things, such as drawing, but every now and then, I like to sit around with my closest friends, and just fucking toke up. Hell, even with somebody I don't know, I'll make a new friend that night. Long story short, LEGALIZE IT.

being high makes me feel really good. im high right now. whenever i get high with friends its even better. it makes all of you talk more and feel more comfortable around eachother. i smoke almost every day. only been smoking for about six months though.

I SMOKE CUZ IT GIVES ME KNOWLEDGE!!! haha nah, i guess i smoke because i can think alot straighter when stoned, it helps me to see the bigger picture know wot i mean? and i grow because i love my plants, and i can be sure they love me back, my plants are my friends, they dont work for me and i dont work for them, we work for each other, its gotta be like that or i have nothing to keep me going in life, plus they are friends u can count on not to stitch you up, just give them wot they want and theyll give you what you want, thats what i love about Ganja

I used to smoke for all those reasons above. but none of them apply anymore. I used to smoke everyday. Some people take SSRI's everyday. same diff to me. i can't smoke everyday now because there is only dirt here, and i've drawn the line. i also quit caffeine to help sleeping. doesn't work. only one thing works. that plant. that silly little plant.
i haven't been high in months. i also haven't had a clear thought in months.
i smoke to prevent killing myself or starting shit on fire. or drinking too much too often. or hyperventilating when a news anchor tells a bald faced lie. and right now, i'm growing for all those reasons too. i think some of us are just way too high strung to go about mundane reality without a little help.

my pops offed himself, and luckily i have a "soul mate". she's what i live for. cannabis just makes everything else easier to forget, like baby rape and stuff. If that's escapism, then i'm harry fking houdini.

oh yeah, and herb is conducive to communal convergence. i never saw stoner friends fight...but booze on the other hand...Smoke A J for me! For Dizzoh!!! Since my friends have turned to booze and pills!!!

i agree that weed causes a lack of motivation, and thats precisely why i smoke. why is necessary for everyone to work so hard, why must we all "accomplish" something. weed makes me content with everything. it takes away stresses that come with being motivated. just cause i say i like being unmotivated doesnt mean i just smoke on my couch and sit there all day. before i started smoking weed i was a 4.0 student in school, and worked so hard to do good. i was ridiculusly stressed out, and for what? then i started smoking weed, a lot of weed, and i still managed like a 3.8, but with less work, and way, way less stress. the only reason i am living on this planet is to be happy and content in that moment in time, and thats why i smoke weed.

Exactly! I had this same "epiphany" (never thought like that before) about a month ago during a robo trip. I've never felt the same, I feel like THAT now.

That's why I smoke weed. To be happy and content, and cannabis does that for me.

Plus it gets rid of a lot of the stomach ailments I suffer from, as well as sometimes can help me get to sleep without me having to use those sleeping pills.
