No idea ma' friend! But I once slept with a girl who could speak Latin, at the time of ,ahem, she was at university translating Ceasars text into English! My older brother also studied Latin as his second language. I wish I'd had the opportunity to study Latin as it's everywhere!

No, Latin hasn't died, but it's evolved. I can speak two forms of modern Latin.

Latin is fun.. and hard. My father taught Latin at a University but never really went into detail in teaching it to me.

I did pick up a few things though

just a wild guess but is there a woman n a servant (?) searching for a birthday present. for this womans child. they want to buy this..umm..clothe...tooga in finnish no idea what it is in english. they used to wear tht kinda clothes back then. n this shop owner asks what they're looking for n shows em those clothes n then they buy one.
