hey, i just water my plants every 3 days and give them 3/4 inches of water above the soil level, this seems to work well and ive had good results so far, good luck mate

Another thing I've never quite seen a clear answer to is how much water should you water a pot with based on its size? Like how much water per gallon of pot size each watering? I know you only water when the soil is dry about 2 inches down, and to water til you see a little water come out at least, but how much would you say is ideal for a 1 gallon pot and a 5 gallon pot?
